Joey waltzes into the classroom (late - but so what, eh? everybody else seated and the teacher is busy with other kids, and the kid in front of him has already completed a Botticelli - quality picture). Joey disrupts the whole classroom with his apparently unusual (if not downright loopy) joviality - and he's still acting like a drunk 6 hours later at dismissal. Hey, Ma, the Old Crow goes in YOUR orange juice, not Joeys.
Yeah, that's right little girl. Take an apple from a strange man.. and you could wind up turning tricks in some swanky hotel in Santo Domingo by tomorrow evening. But look at it this way, at least there's no snow there.
Nice neighborhood but somehow, I feel slighted. Making friends was never that easy - or that quick. And anyway, most kids in those days, that were desperate for some friends had the parents throw them a birthday party and let the kid invite all the kids he wants. Usually worked.

Fun of making fun of people making friends.
This film which doesnt have any title or end credits, but just REEKS of Coronet influences features Joey, who looks VERY similar to Henry, the 'withdrawn' child of "Activity Group Therapy" fame. Anyways, he's stumped over how to make friends. He goes to his Mom to get some excellent advice. He makes a picture perfect printing of it and goes off to become the freindliest guy on the face of the earth. Definitions of friendship goes borderline here, as a young girl is shown taking an apple from a older male person, which may have taught kids that it's ok to make friends with everyone you meet. A little bit bad acted, but oh well.
